This is actually my first time having done anything with an e-sim, so this 
whole process is all new to me.  Sadly, I know nothing about how to even 
remove/insert a SIM card, so in the past, when I switched carriers, I either 
just took my phone to a carrier-specific store and let them do it, or let 
Hannah (my now 14-year-old daughter,) do it, who is really good with just about 
anything tech-related.
  However, she’s in Orlando visiting her dad for Christmas, and things got so 
busy right before she left, that there wasn’t time for me to ask her to help 
then.
