Donna, The Mac software is probably a bit easier unless you have experience with the JAWS touch cursor. That said, it depends I guess what you want to do. You don’t have to use the software to use the keyboard to be clear.
You can also switch the function keys to be function keys and their alternatives to require holding down the FN key by pressing and holding FN+escape for a few seconds on each device where you want it to behave this way. I’m fairly certain I had to do this on each device where I connect. All this said, I don’t have the software installed at all on two of the three devices where I use this keyboard.
