When I turn off javascript the audible site works for me. However, when I 
attempt to download a book, nothing happens.  I think javascript has to be 
enabled to make downloading work.  Have you actually downloaded a book with 
javascript disabled?  if so, then, my problem is different and maybe not 
related to Safari 5 at all!
