Hi,

As far as I can remember, if you really want to compare...the only thing you 
can't do on the Mac as a blind person is actually perform the Apple hardware 
test (AHD), which is understandable. There are very good reasons for that. Even 
so, though, you can get third-party tools that use Terminal, for example, to 
run separate tests which will, when put together, essentially measure exactly 
the same as the Hardware Test will. So, if you are willing to listen to 
thousands of lines of text, go ahead.
