Hi, no, fido is not rogers. It's weird, but they are two seperate companies, both owned by rogers, using the same GSM towers. The probable reason for this is that Rogers physicly owns those towers, giving them a communications monopoly. It's illegal to have a communications monopoly in Canada according to what I've read.
So they have a monopoly, but really they don't.
