Hi Liam, One way to accomplish what you are trying to do is to bring up the item chooser and type button. Down arrow till you hear the "share" button spoken. Press VO space to move your cursor to the share button then VO left arrow once and you will hear "edit" and that is the place to type what is on your mind. I hope this suggestion is helpful.
