Do a search of firmware updates. My memory is that the triple beep is for an upgrade of firmware where the the installer puts special code on the disk that is read at boot up time to rebuild the firmeware. Sighted folks would just have to wait out the 3-4 minutes required for the firmeware to be re-written. Best regards,
