Hi: I set the recordings, manage season passes, to do lists, etc from the Tivo site. I have my shows organized in folders which appear in alphabetical order. The Tivo provides beeps, and other audio feedback as you arrow up and down menus. The tivo remote also as shortcut keys that have assigned tasks. On the PC, Tivo desktop will let you transfer Tivo shows from the Tivo to the PC. Direct Show Dump Utility will let you convert from Tivo format to any other video format. On the Mac, I have iTivo, which transfers from the Tivo, and converts to MPG which is my prefered format. You can use iTivo to transfer and have the videos show up in iTunes to transfer to an iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc. There is also a Tivo app for the iPhone that is supposed to let you accessibly navigate your Tivo box from the phone, but I cannot remember the name of it! I have a series 2 Tivo box.
