I have uverse or rather my mom does.  Yes the cable only has it free for six 
months here than you have to pay!  I think cable is going by the way side, I 
don't know anyone who has cable accept for some apartment dwellers who cant 
get anything besides the cable.  But even my friend who lives in public 
housing, has dish!  I don't understand why cable makes you pay when the 
others give it for free and sometimes give two dvrs with the higher 
packages!  Heather
