Hi All,
I'm running into a minor snag in trying to get a virtual machine up and
running. There seems to be some quirk in the Mac system which prevents the
capslock key from being virtualized properly. I've encountered this problem
both with VirtualBox and the newly installed VmWare Fusion.
So I'm wondering if it wouldn't be too strange to use a full-sized keyboard
with this Macbook? The problem is that a lot of both Linux and Windows screen
readers use capslock as a modifier, and I don't have a numeric keypad on this
machine, or any way to get around the emulation issue.
Alternate solutions would be welcome, as the keyboard will probably add
considerably to the bulk of the whole system, not that it's particularly large
at the moment.
Best and thanks in advance for any thoughts,
Zack.
