Interesting report on the IPad 2. You said you have a bluetooth earbud, not an over the ear type? I'm interested in something that covers just one ear and is not an in the ear canal type deal, as I don't want my ear totally closed off to the outside environment. Also assuming your earbud also has a mic, do you know if that works with the IPad to let you use things like dragon dictate or any of the recording apps? I'm sorry it was too loud in the store so you had to use your earbud. I am curious how the speaker on the new IPad compares with the original. I've seen one report stating that it is quieter and another noting that it is an "after thought", which I guess is true for the original as well. One of the things I like about the original IPad as compared with my Touch is the much better sound from the built in speaker, and I am wondering how the changed position may effect that with the new IPad.
