Hi there! This worked great. For some reason, I couldn't get the low quality bitrate I wanted to use to work, but that's not a huge crisis. Once I had an mp3 to work with, I was able to downgrade the quality to the 24K Bitrate in goldwave so that the file would be a manageable size; since it was just Alex reading, that bitrate is more than adequate, and sounds really good, at least to my ears. I have no idea why it wouldn't let me use that setting in Itunes, but it kept having an error, so rather than fighting with it, I just set it to the lowest quality Itunes would let me use, which I think was 128K or something like that and downgraded it on the pc. Hi, There's a couple ways you can do it. You can convert with iTunes. Open up iTunes and then open up iTunes prefs with command comma. Then find the import settings button (which is found under the general tab) and select the file type you want iTunes to use for conversion. Once you've selected mp3, and the quality you want, press ok. Now find the text to audio file in iTunes and go to advanced in the menu bar. You will find an option to convert to mp3. You can also interact with the table and bring up the context menu to find the same option. You can also use garageband but, I think thats more involved.
