Yes, I just bought mine a week ago, so I don't think it is fixed. It was Chris who recommended the setup with the VGA adaptor and converter box. For me, this has fixed the issues I was having and I am happily using my Mini without a monitor. Apparently, this varies from person to person, but I now know of four others who experienced either the exact problems I did or similar ones when not using a monitor.
