Hello,

I suspect that many new Mac users who work in more than one language have
become frustrated by the fact that changing the voice means that menu items are
read badly. Here's what to do to avoid this.

• Open VoiceOver Utility (VO-F8);
• Select the Speech category;
• Navigate right through all the Pitch, Volume, etc until you find Additional
Voice Options and check it;
• Now you'll find more categories for speech below Default Voice;
• Set Content to Default voice, then set all the other options to a voice or
voices in the system language.

Now, when you change the language with the Speech Attribute Rotor, the language
in which the text is read will change, but menus will be read in your system
language.

Cheers,

Anne
