So are you saying that turning off plugins disables flash? How do you do
that. I can turn on/off Extensions but not plugins in Safari Preferences
and Flash doesn't show up as an Extension.

Glad that worked, I actually leave plug ins disabled unless I know I will need
flash, this will cause sites to provide an html version if possible which will
read. Hopefully eventually html5 takes the place of flash and this is no longer
an issue.

Well, Mike, That worked. I guess there's a reason for it all.
Thanks for the help from all,

I wonder if there are 2 versions of the page, a flash and an html version, if
the site is giving you the flash version on the mac, you won't see the buttons
since adobe refuses to make flash accessible. You might try this, open safari
preferences and go to the security tab, uncheck the option to enable plug ins,
then go to the page in question.

I subscribe to a rivals sports site and generally after every game, they put up
video of coaches and players. The videos are imbedded into the page. I can't
access the play buttons on the Mac but can on the IPhone. Does anyone have an
idea as to how I might get those buttons to show up on safari on the mac?
Thanks,
Kev
