hello; it sounds like your cursor tracking isn't on or isn't working. when this happens to me, which it does on some pages, I use the command control option f-5 to make sure I'm on it. then i press control and the track pad, but i believe you can just do control option m for the menu and get the same list. hope i haven't made things harder. take care, max

I encounter this problem with almost every link. The option return is not a solution as I do not want to download the link. I often just want to open the link in a new window. My mouse cursor is set to follow the VO cursor. Then I do a "right click" with the actual mouse by holding control then clicking the mouse. In my case it's actually a track pad. So, I am just careful to not touch the track pad or moving the mouse cursor. I have an old track pad with an actual button for mouse clicking.

Hope that makes sense,

When I press VO-shift-m I get the context menu for the page, not the current link I am focused on.

Hi,

Bringing up the context menu isn't even necessary. Just press option enter when on the link. But if you do want the context menu anyway, press VO shift M.

Hello list:
I am trying to do the equivalent of right clicking the mouse on a link so I can save the pdf files that these links point to. My problem is I can't seem to get the menu with the save as option in it. I get a menu for the current page I am viewing. How does one save a file from a web page? The page in question is:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp

Thanks in advance,

Doug
