I'm still using Snow Leopard. I just reduced all the track pad speed sliders to 0, went through and unchecked all the shortcuts. I feel sorta bad doing this, as I rather liked the multitouch feature, but the hardware itself is malfing. I don't know if this will last past a reboot, or if reducing key repeat rate will affect performance; I see that holding down a key still causes repeats of it, just very slowly. :)
