Which screen are you talking about, the authentication login screen? If
so you just need to go into the System Preferences and then Users &
Groups, the 4th set of preference buttons under System. Once in there go
to the Users, Groups and Login Options list. Login Options will be the
last item in the list. If you VO-right from there you'll find Automatic
login, which defaults to Off. You won't be able to change it because
this pane is locked. To unlock you'll have to go to the very end of the
window where you will find a "click the lock to make changes" button. So
that and answer the password prompt. Go back to the automatic login
location and you'll find a popup with has choices of "Off" or one of the
accounts on your machine. If you change it to one of the accounts on
your machine then everytime you startup it will drop you right into that
account. Of course this isn't as secure but it's quite handy.
