I don't bother with trying to download from youtube usually. I just turn on recording for safari in audio hijack pro with recording set to remove silence (there's a decibel level setting and duration for this). Then I go into safari and activate the link to what I want to record and I frankly think it comes out sounding just as good as if I had downloaded it. But I admit I'm not trying to do anything highly professional with the recording. I'm usually just trying to learn new worship music for church or other music just for my own enjoyment.
