I have confirmed and reconfirmed that my settings are exactly the same on both Windows and the Mac.

Thus, essentially being a GMail account? If so, GMail does not show messages that were sent to yourself, it's just the way GMail has their servers set up. I've seen this with other providers as well so it's possible that is the reason. If you are hoping to save those messages you send, simply go to your Sent messages and move it/them to wherever you wish. Later... Tim Kilburn Fort McMurray, AB Canada On 2012-10-11, at 8:38 AM, M. For some reason, I cannot see messages sent to myself in my mail client. I want to be clear on this so please indulge me. I have several accounts or Mailboxes setup on my Mac including an iCloud account, a Candleshore account and my primary UCLA account. Now, when in either of the two other Inboxes, I can send an email to that address and it appears in the inbox. For example, 1. Place focus on the Candleshore Inbox. 2. Read a few messages waiting for me in there. 3. Create a new message and address it to the candleshore email address which is music...@candleshore.com 4. Confirm that the messages is being sent from that same address. 5. Enter a subject line. 6. Send the message. Within a second or two, the message appears in the Messages table, just as it should. This works for each of my accounts accept for the UCLA account. I have removed the UCLA account several times and re-created it but the problem persist. I first noticed this when posting to this list. Even though all of you could see it I could not. Then, I decided to CC myself on outgoing messages but still, I did not receive a copy of the message. As far as I know, this problem did not begin until the latest version of the mail client. I just don't know what else to try. By the way, I have even gone so far as to use various SMTP servers but nothing works. The funny thing is, when viewing the UCLA account from my Windows computer, the messages sent from my Mac, that is to myself, do not appear, either. Somehow the Mac is doing something to prevent the messages from being sent to me but only in this one account. Any suggestions will be welcomed.
