Hi, Gmail you say? Could be that gmail is blocking you. Two things: First, you'll want to be sure that imap and POP3 are enabled in your gmail account. If they aren't, it won't work. You'll need to do this from the gmail settings page. Second, if you've got pop3 and imap set up, it could be that google is blocking you anyway.
