Apologies, that wasn't as clear as it possibly should have been … it was early. 
:)
What I meant was to add the dl in front of dropbox.com as you did, and also 
remove the www. so your link should be as follows:
httP://dl.dropbox.com
And then whatever the ending part of the name is which you can leave in tact.
