I really don't want to start Yet Another Talk vs Mailing List discussion.
But I do want to point out that I don't see most discussion in the
community forum, and I doubt I'm alone in that. If the point of
community discussion is to involve the community, then holding "most of
this discussion" only on Talk is failing to achieve that goal.

To be clear, I was talking Community forum vs blog, I never mentioned
the list. Although I agree with Qole.
I just would rather see council making announcemnts on "community forum"
over the Blog. The Blog format does not seem to elicit the same type of
community responses. The Council can't be expected to post to the list,
post to the forum and write blogs all about the same topics. The list
and forum redundancy is bad enough IMO.
