I agree.

What about putting up a Wiki page, before the session, where we can fill in
topics or questions of interest ?
Then we can plan chats around the various topic in order of
importance/popularity (this woud be discussed here on the mailing
list).

After the chat has finished there will be a link to a new wiki page
with the answers
and / or to the chat log.
