Good! Still the developer community at large should be involved. For instance, any list contains "the usual suspects" but there are 705 projects in the garage and probably something really good (and unknown for most of us today) could come out from this. Same for http://www.callingallinnovators.com/ - probably most of those projects don't know about the initiative and some of them have indeed chances to get something good from there.
