I think we should concentrate the attention on the thick apps and all those packages coming from dependencies. we are talking about not many maintainers actually, and most of them will quickly understand the benefits. Why making this /opt a requirement for everybody right now, when actually there are many apps under 200kb not bringing much hassle themselves. We all can convert them slowly. Quim
