Such as right now. Surprise surprise.   (I'm not 100% sure it's akamai that is 
down as I don't have full details, but it seems something like that is going 
on.)

So my one mirror that I set up is getting pegged at 100Mbit full on right now 
since I noted it a few times in passing in talk.maemo.org threads.

Now, if someone with official standing at maemo (e.g. a webmaster) would have 
emailed a few of the well-known free software mirrors (e.g. ibiblio, 
mirrors.kernel.org, UK mirror service), we'd have a few very well provisioned 
mirrors to fall back on. Can someone with "authority" within maemo.org make 
these requests? It really is as simple as a few emails. Send out 10 emails, get 
10 mirrors. If you want me to build up a list, I will.
