A (probably) good decision has already been made for you - QMF is used in MeeGo handset UX: http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2009/09/21/introducing-qmf-an-advanced-mobile-messaging-framework/ I have developed a plugin for both QMF and Tinymail, and have to say QMF has a "safer", simpler design - it stores the emails in sqlite database and relies on multiprocess, rather than multithreaded architecture. -- Ville M.
