Hi Hal: I'm not sure if what I'm telling you will help... I mean to edit a playlist that will then play with mplayer (which plays flac files). The command is: $ mplayer -playlist list.m3u In case you want to play it choosing songs randomly: $ mplayer -playlist list.m3u -shuffle If you don't want to play it from xterm there are ways to run it from graphical mode. (In N770 there's load-applet-run that does it... in N8XX I think there's a launcher that does the job...) Besides, if you don't know how to manually edit a playlist file I can tell you how to do it, or even send you a script to do it.
