The server for the Mandriva forums appears to be (already?)
broken, no possibility to warn people via that evident way -

Thanks, but too late for me. My urpmi is now broken! Doh! There
is a thread of it on usenet. I wonder how they will go about
fixing this. Plus, I manage about 40 desktops for users in need
of help. Hmmmm ...

Yes, but as stated in the follow up discussions, new users will most
likely not know how to fix it on their own. I imagine, as stated in one
of the replies, that Mdv will have to create 2010.2 repositories and
send out another updated through these repositories to fix the problem.
