The line frequency (50Hz?) is low enough that the twisted pairing should eliminate the interference.
The only problem would be unwanted noise on the power line, which would be caused by noise electronic equipment and large switched loads. Noisy equipment will probably not be a problem because that type of noise that would cause you a problem is well regulated. Noise from a large switched load (air conditioner or refrigerator starting/stopping) is in short, infrequent bursts so I doubt you will even notice them. --Jeff
