"Translation work involves more than just translating text word for word.
To make Mageia pleasant to ?Norwegian users?, it needs to be done properly.
Even if you are an amateur, the work doesn't need to reflect it ?"

There's only one official Mageia forum and it's specifically linked to
in the text, so my translation is correct

Olav for your information Twitter is a forum too and so are blogs. I am sure the very reason for writing "our forums" in the default language is that more than one forum is available. Since it is a link, you have to pick one as a representative. It must be a logic from the Neander Valley, if one starts to suggest that the default language is wrongly put. Only one existing forum would command the text "our forum" - that is not what it said. Your wish to make it pleasant for Norwegian viewers is admirable, but your translations is wrong.

You need to relax. And just be open to the possibility that you are capable of errors (very capable :) ).

Olavs korrektions:

line 21 agreed (Definetely :-) )

The rest is better in my version

Line 33 is directly wrong in Olavs "korrektion" sinse it is in plural
(one "forum" several "fora") so "our forums" has to be "v?re fora"

A short hint:
Why don't you use PiratePad ( http://piratepad.net/ ) for
collaborative translation? You can discuss such things until all is
clear, set revisions, even chat while you are working on it. Then post
to the ML for upload.
