As described in ImageMagick documentation, I tried the following command:
convert image.jpg image.png
What is confusing for me is the output message displayed by convert:
convert.exe: missing an image filename `image.png'.
What do I miss here?
Is there an 'image.jpg' in the current working directory?
Of course there is.
