OK. Make sure you install the Apple Developer Tools. While building wxMac, you can just run "./configure". I specified my home directory which is probably wrong. I think I know what the problem is. I do not do a "make install", instead I run the M binary directly from the build tree. Anyway, the icons seem to be just painted yellow.
