No, I haven't. But then again, I haven't got the latest code either(mine is
a couple of weeks old). But I will have a look at it, since it might be
related to the problems I am experiencing. 

A question though, have you noticed if the error message dialogs are lying
in the background, that is hidden behind the main M window or something
similar to that? Because that is what I am excperiencing, a supposedly
modal dialog pops up and then immediately disappears behind the previous
dialog/window so as to become "hidden".
