 Mahogany supports viewing of the messages in UTF-7 and UTF-8. I've never
tested if sending messages in UTF-8 worked but if it doesn't it should be
relatively simple to fix this.

 Not yet. The version using GTK+ 2.0 under Unix should be able to do it
later though.
