 But surely just dragging the folder should work as well? I mean, this
seems to be a quite intuitive thing to try and why shouldn't it work?

 No, it should be put where it was dropped. You can go the item at which it
was dropped exactly and you simply insert the new folder after that item. I
don't think there are any real problems here but if you want I might try to
provide a function to change the folders position among its siblings, i.e.
a MFolder method to put it after some given sibling.
