Thank you, I've added the relevant logic to configure, it would be very nice if
you could test it as I don't have access to an IRIX box.
BTW, configured used to define CCOSTYPE as sg6 by default and apparently this is
correct ofr IRIX 6.5 but, as you say, sgi should be used for the others, so I'm
using `uname -r` to decide about this now -- again, I can only hope that it
works but can't test it myself.
