It has no right to crash there :-( wxListBase::Item() is 3 lines long... So it
would look like the stack is corrupted somehow (although it looks mostly ok
which is unusual in such case).
I'll have to understand what happens in some other way then. First of all, does
it happen for all folders or only for some (which?) of them? Second, if the
backtrace is not totally wrong, switching off the items images (in the global
preferences, last page, choose "text" for "toolbar/notebook icons") should fix
it -- does it?
