Good news!

I found an old PDK disk from Feb 2003 and installed it. It flew past the
point it has been stopping and once I disabled dspam and installed Python,
it went past those points too.

I have one final (I hope! :-) ) error. 

It stops at src/mail/MessageCC.cpp:440 and gives unexpected 'struct'
'mail_address' as the error.

So it seems there is some unknown compatibility problem with new PDK's
Given that their install program does al installation and the only thing I
had to do was to select via menu to register the PDK with Visual Studio, I
can't see how I could have stuffed it up ?! I blame MS till we prove
otherwise ;-)
