What is the difference between M and other nntp-clients? Just the gui or
problems with coding?

btw: Where can I set the language to english? I found nothing like this
in the global settings.

Ok, I start M and open the nntp-server preferences.
The first section is Access ("Zugriff").
The is a username ("Benutzername"), password, server and newsgroup.
I would think that this are the login infos for the nntp-server.
But I do not understand what the field "newsgroup" has to do on this
place? Can I just subscribe to one newsgroup? Of course not, I think!?

The second section is Identity ("Identität"). This sections is quite
logic. But there is a username ("Benutzername") field. What is this?
What happens if I fill there and in the first-section-username-field
different strings?

The thierd section is Network ("Netzwerk").
There is a smtp-server-field. I need this for a usenet-client, ok. But
it would be more ergnomic there If I could set one of the existing
mail-accounts there.
The user-qestion is which mail-account do I need If I answer by mail to
a newsgroup-posting. I quite silly user like me would just select one of
his existing mail-accounts. Settings a smtp-server and smtp-login again
is quite irritating and ineficent by time.
Then there is a nttp-server-field, nntp-userlogin and nntp-password.
Why? There was a such fields in the first section, too? What is the
difference between them and why do I need it?

Ok, that is the first analyse for me. I did not tried the mail-accounts.

But why are there server-items in the tree-ctrl under the folders. Why
do I need them instead of the folders?
Are there one server-item for each account and the folders are used by
each account?
