I was thinking about the same thing some time back ago. What stopped me was that I needed to understand the profile class/system first. I am slowly coming along with that. The gui approach I was thinking of, was that it was specified in the folders own identity property. But it could be done the way you are suggesting aswell, all though al little more complicated perhaps. I'm not sure though.
