Sean Owen resolved MAHOUT-305. ------------------------------ Fix Version/s: 0.4 Resolution: Fixed I think with my latest commit this is substantially done. It weaves together the spirit of your implementation, plus Ted's ideas about pruning, into the existing shell I had under .item. I retained TupleWritable though it's not now used. The unified implementation remains open for business for anyone to keep working on. > Combine both cooccurrence-based CF M/R jobs > ------------------------------------------- > > Key: MAHOUT-305 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAHOUT-305 > Project: Mahout > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Collaborative Filtering > Affects Versions: 0.2 > Reporter: Sean Owen > Assignee: Ankur > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 0.4 > > > We have two different but essentially identical MapReduce jobs to make > recommendations based on item co-occurrence: > org.apache.mahout.cf.taste.hadoop.{item,cooccurrence}.
