In my mail I found an invitation to attend the "Get Together of Pantnagarians" on 15 December. I got very excited about it and in the morning of 15 December I called Mr. Pradeep Garg about joining the party at NOIDA Sports Club. It was a wonderful party. I met a lot of Pantnagarians after many many years. Some of them I met were students during the same years (1962-66) and others were students from the period when I served as a faculty member (1973-75). The weather was perfect and food was good and spicy. A lot of good music, games and prizes, jokes, and of course speeches. Although I had heard about Arun Chauhan it was my first time to meet him in person. He is great supporter of "Pantnagar Cause". I am sure that Mr. Chauhan and Mr. Garg should be able to send some pictures of this great get together in NOIDA on 15 December 2002. I think any equipments/LCD projector/Computer hardware should be provided by the university and that should be coming through the funds of the Uttaranchal state.
