My wife is a general counsel of a company with hundreds of billions of euros of daily turnover, and over ten trillions of euros of assets under management. It used to be owned by one of the biggest Investment banks in the world, before they spun off that operation and sold it to the customers.
She was also a key person in the creation of the electronic version of the London Stock Exchange, and (so far as I know) has been the only person ever loaned by the US Securities and Exchange Commission to a government of another country.
She has archives going back as long as she's been on the Internet. She was most likely materially involved in the creation of the SEC rule that requires seven year retention on all forms of communication between stock brokers and their customers.
So, what's your point?
