Many/most problems can also be solved by using a remote support software, such as RustDesk, TeamViewer, etc. - and if a Mac is involved on the other side and you also have a Mac via Apple’s built-in features. You just need to know the other sied’s AppleID (not the password for it, only the ID) amd the other side must open Screen access (Bildschirmfreigabe), File access (Dateifreigabe) and Remote Access (Entfernte Anmeldung) in their system settings. These settings can all be found under "Sharing" (Teilen). So it’s in most cases not necessary to take an extra ride.
