That does indicate that the problem is in BusyContacts and that it may
not be easily fixed. Mail.app has an OSA (i.e. "AppleScript") API that
isn't replicated by MailMate. If BusyContacts is using functions of
that API that don't have analogs in MailMate's radically different API
(which is essentially just a wrapper around the "selectors" used for
key bindings) there may be no way for the developer to also work with
MailMate.
Well, it works for me with BusyContacts. Although I had a problem making
it work when launching MailMate from its build folder. It seemed I had
to place it in `/Applications/` to make it work (I didn't investigate
this in detail)...
