Thanks for the tip. Indeed using the Correspondence layout I seem to be
able to trace the replies (but not the forwards apparently). But I was
mostly looking for replies, so it helps.

The detail view for a message has a list that shows all messages in
same thread / same subject.
not sure if that captures forwards ... not sure that is even
traceable...if it is we can update the query used for that view to
include it.
