Thanks for sharing the EagleFiler link – I really appreciated it!

Since you mentioned you use it, I’d love to ask a couple of quick questions if you don’t mind. I’m currently testing EagleFiler to archive around 220,000 emails (roughly 100 GB total). I noticed the indexing process is quite slow on my side — I’m attaching a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

Do you have any tips on how you structure your archive? How do you usually organize your files? Also, is the initial indexing always this slow for large libraries, or is there something I could tweak to improve performance?

Any best practices or insights would be very helpful. Thanks again if you’re able to share some of your experience!

There are many solutions, but I use EagleFiler. Its developer is responsible and responsive, and the online user manual even details how to use it with MailMate!
