They seem to host a spammer/abuser whose abuse has been detected by CSS, SBL, Spamcop, and likely many others. The abuse is so egregious that it is also listed by Spamhaus DROP, which is not the easiest list to get into. Perhaps allowing this abuser or group of abusers to spam from multiple IP addresses over a long period of time wasn't your best decision.

What are you going to tell them, that the marketer is legitimate and
advertising for legitimate companies?

Do you intend to lie to them and try to convince them that the spammer is legitimate and advertising for legitimate companies only to those who have given permission despite substantial evidence to the contrary? This probably won't work.

Or that they follow best practices in email marketing / have implemented
best practices?

Or lie to them and claim that this spammer follows best practices in email marketing / has implemented best practices? This probably won't work either.

Want the listings gone? First, remove the parasite(s) from your network permanently. Apologize and demonstrate that you've taken this action. Wait. Wait more. Wait even more. Consider re-purposing that netblock for something non-critical that doesn't rely on sending email for the foreseeable future. Vet your future customers more carefully. Have terms of service that prevent this type of thing. Enforce them. Have an abuse address that is read promptly by a human with the authority to take action. Respond to abuse complaints by promptly taking action.
